Modern Boho Winter Wedding – Photographer’s Perspective

Jen from Andii Mihay Events approached me about doing a styled photo shoot, with herself as the model, so that she could showcase her beautiful Diamond Arbour with her styling the shoot to focus around a “Modern Boho Winter Wedding” theme.

Jen styled the entire shoot, choosing a mixture of Phalanopsis Orchids and combination of wheat to create a country rustic feel mixed with modern ideas for the wedding bouquet. Her stunning nude and white lace dress and dangling earrings also sourced locally from LOFT 23. Her golden shoes from Shoes at 4825 stunningly contrasted the natural landscape at our chosen location – The Granites in Mount Isa.

The shoot was on a beautiful day, at a great time of year, with the perfect temperature. And although not ideal for photography we did our shoot at midday, not letting the blaring winter sun dampen our mood, we captured some stunning photos of Jen and her incredible style.

When Jen from Andii Mihay Events approached me about doing another styled photo shoot I knew that we would create some beautiful images, but I was not expecting to be published in Queensland Brides One+One magazine. Read the feature here. It just goes to show that collaborating with other local business can truly make the magic happen. I look forward to doing more styled shoots with Jen and seeing what new ideas and stunning style she brings along, for me to capture.
