Muir Wedding

The Muir wedding was a true celebration of a beautiful family. Shaun and Skye Muir are local business owners, running one of the butcher shops in town while raising their three children.

Every detail revolved around the love Shaun and Skye had for each other and for their adorable daughters and son.

Their sentimental weekday wedding date, 2nd of October, chosen because it was the day they had met.

As the bridal party got ready the girls received matching necklaces and bracelets, while wearing their matching dresses and crowns. A memory and keepsake I’m sure they will cherish for years to come.

The ceremony and reception took place in Terrace Gardens with beautiful and thoughtful touches ranging from ‘wedding wishes’ to displayed family photos to an area with board games and blankets for kids, all made for an intimate occasion with roughly sixty guests. The decorations and arch beautifully adorning the area by Andii Mihaay Events.

The girls took part in the ceremony while baby brother Kash watched from the loving arms of his grandmother. Afterwards all gathered for hugs and well wishes and group photos. Then we were off to our location to get photos in the sunset.

When on location for the wedding photos, it was a personal affair with only the family present. In the shimmering light their family love was captured as they embraced and danced and laughed together.

“Being a family means you are a part of something very wonderful. It means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life.” –Lisa Weed
